Our Spring/Easter Celebration 2011

How appropriate for Earth Day to fall on the same weekend as Easter this year! Our celebrating began on Saturday at a community Earth Day extravaganza complete with huge puppets, mask making, close encounters with some river water invertebrates, and an awesome old-school slide. Sunday morning we awoke to the magic of hidden baskets and a delicious breakfast (while I snuck out back in my pjs to prepare the egg hunt for a VERY anxious 4-year old!) And of course, the highlight was the egg hunt. Such sweet moments from Cedar helping Amara find her first easter egg to his very first bite into a chocolate bunny.
A wonderful weekend shared with some special grandparents and one very special bunny.
